About Me

My name is Khalil. I’m assuming that since you clicked the tab in the menu, you actually want to know who I am. First of all, THANK YOU. I started this website because I’ve always been interested in writing and starting a simple blog. Life gets in the way sometimes, and so I never actually committed to the simple interest until now.

Recently, I’ve gone through some major life changes. I was a full-time student while working full-time. I earned my bachelor’s degree in communications, with a specialization in digital media. I was excited to start a new chapter and find a job related to my degree. But what stopped me was not just the difficult job market, but my health. I nearly died from a tumor scare last year, and while seeking treatment, I still had to work to pay off my college tuition and my medical bills. However, my struggles didn’t end there; I eventually started to lose my balance and fall repeatedly, suffering from extreme pain in my leg. I was then diagnosed with bilateral lumbar radiculopathy. This had forced me to stop working my physical job before it got irreversibly worse.

I won’t give you my full sob story; that’s not why I’m here, and I’m sure you don’t care to hear it either. I’m sharing this because all of us at some point in our lives have to face things we don’t plan for. Some of those obstacles are small, and some are completely life-shattering. In a world like today, it’s no surprise that sometimes, we want a little escape from our problems. Find a little bit of joy that keeps us going, no matter how silly it might be.

That’s why I started my blog. Now that I have time, I can actually write about things that I’m passionate about and that bring me joy. Sometimes it’s silly, goofy, dumb, a little bit weird! Sometimes, they may actually be some short info pieces. My wish is to share what brings me joy despite my hardships. If that joy can help uplift someone else, then I’m a happy girl.

This website is basically a hodgepodge of interests I have. Ranging from games, movies, crocheting, F1 (NO, I did not watch DTS), and just random things about animals. So, if any of these things interest you, I hope you enjoy reading!

Yes, you may see pictures of my dog, BD (named after BD-1 from Jedi Fallen Order). Sorry, not sorry.
